Major QuestionWhy is HelpWire free?

HelpWire was launched as a free service to gain traction in a competitive market and quickly gather user feedback. We're fortunate to be supported by our parent company, Electronic Team, Inc., whose successful product portfolio allows us to maintain HelpWire as an ad-free service.

While we plan to transition to a freemium model in the future, the Standard plan will remain free, with ample notice provided before any changes are made.

How can I try HelpWire? Is there a trial?

HelpWire is entirely free. You can start using it immediately after downloading the appropriate version for your operating system or registering a free account.

What features are currently in development?

We share our development plans for HelpWire in our roadmap. If you have any suggestions or priorities you'd like us to consider, feel free to contact us here.

Can I use HelpWire without an account?

Yes, you can download and install a streamlined version of HelpWire that allows for on-demand remote connections without registering an account.

How secure is HelpWire?

HelpWire uses Auth0, a trusted third-party authentication provider, to handle logins securely. All connections and data are protected with TLS/SSL protocols.

HelpWire establishes direct peer-to-peer connections between the Operator and the remote Client, bypassing servers whenever possible. When a direct connection isn't feasible, AWS servers are used solely for routing purposes, ensuring that the data flow remains end-to-end encrypted and anonymized.
